In the Spring of 2018, Missouri State University (MSU) students in the Missouri State Planning Practicum class compiled data, surveyed Billings community members and provided goals, recommendations and data analyses. This work will shorten the time-line for the Southwest Missouri Council of Governments to assist the City of Billings with updating their out-dated plan from 1994.
There are three documents below. The first is the final March 2020 draft. This includes input from the February 14, 2020 Open House and is in the process of being reviewed by the Planning & Zoning Committee, Comprehensive Plan committee and Board of Aldermen.
We have also included a copy of the 2018 Visioning Plan and a copy of the presentation from the October 24th, 2019 Kick-off of the Comprehensive Planning review. 16 Billings residents were in attendance at that meeting.
